OOH Video can custom manufacture high quality, cost effective Digital Video Players (DVPs) for your specific application. Custom servers can be configured with features such as faster processors, more RAM, etc, than factory-built servers contain, and can be built in either rack-mount or desktop cases. In many cases, money can be saved by excluding features that you may not need.

The OOH Video custom manufactured DVP is a professional quality MPEG-2 video and audio playback appliance, designed to combine MPEG-2 quality and flexibility with ease of use. With MPEG-2, the international standard for digital video and audio compression and decompression, you get top quality, full resolution DVD quality video, and CD quality stereo audio.

DVP servers are available in either Standard Definition (NTSC or PAL) or High-Definition versions. Standard Def models use our Harmony class MPEG decoder circuit boards for professional quality MPEG-2 playback. These may be configured using combinations of the 2 and 4 channel Harmony boards for any combination of 2 to 24 channels of video. High Def models use our Gemini class HD MPEG decoder circuit boards for professional quality HD MPEG-2 playback. HD DVPs may be configured using either single channel boards up to 6 channels, or 2 channel boards, up to 12 channels.

OOH DVP servers feature easy to use playback software which allows you to create multiple playlists, control playback through either the software interface or via RS-232 serial control, and also allows you to automate playlist startup with a time-scheduling feature.
