The ReelTime 4 is the world's most widely used multi-channel MPEG-2 decoder PCI card. Simply stated, this card revolutionized the commercial digital video industry, introducing levels of control, scalability and value never seen before. Originally designed for the video-on-demand (VOD) hospitality market this card offers unprecedented reliability and a mean time between failure (MTBF) of less than 1% since its introduction. The ReelTime 4 was the first video solution with software-controlled frame-accurate cross-channel synchronization and seamless file transitions for unparalleled creative production and post-production opportunities.
On-screen display allows graphics or text information to be laid over on the
video with varying degrees of transparency for menuing and interactive
applications. In addition to the four discreet analog (composite, S-video or RGB) video outputs, the addition of the optional RT Daughter Card provides multichannel genlock, AV switching and blackburst output for unique, professional applications. The ReelTime
4 is provided with Windows 2000 drivers and an extensive SDK for custom software
development.

The RT Daughter Card is a modular circuit board that snaps into the
ReelTime 4 Board. The width of the combined board remains within a single PCI slot. The Daughter card performs two independent functions. It will lock the vertical and horizontal sync timings and the master clock of the (MPEG decoder chip on the base board to an external video source, and it will act as a video switch and audio switch. A channel is normally genlocked
to an external source before switching so as to prevent any disturbance on the
screen while switching. There is also a black-level clamp on the card which
eliminates a possible disturbance while switching caused by different DC levels
of the video. The video switch can be set to display the output of the board or
an external video source (composite only). The audio switch switches between two
stereo sources, and also acts as a volume and tone control. Each of the four
channels on the base board can be controlled independently or be synced to the
same input source.

The ReelTime 2 is a dual channel MPEG-2 decoder circuit board, capable of decoding two MPEG-2 streams simultaneously to RGB, S-video or composite outputs, with MUSICAM stereo audio. Complete with an extensive development library and support for Windows NT, the ReelTime 2 fits into a wide variety of commercial video applications. The ReelTime 2 board also boasts software-controlled frame-accurate cross-channel synchronization as well as play list support with seamless transitions between MPEG files.
On-screen display allows graphics or text information to be laid over on the
video with varying degrees of transparency for menuing and interactive
applications.
Developed for industrial-strength commercial applications, and based upon the popular ReelTime 4 card, the ReelTime
2 offers a mix of features, reliability and flexibility unmatched within the
industry. The ReelTime 2 is provided with Windows 2000 drivers and an extensive
SDK for custom software development. An optional RT Daughter card allows for a clean switching between the audio/video output of the ReelTime 2 MPEG-2 board and an external audio/video source.

The ReelTime Plus, formerly MPEG Plus, is a single channel MPEG-2 decoder
circuit board, capable of decoding composite, S-video or RGB outputs, with balanced stereo audio. The ReelTime Plus fits into a wide variety of digital video applications and includes an extensive development library with Windows 2000 drivers. On-screen display allows graphics or text information to be laid over on the video with varying degrees of transparency for menuing and interactive applications. A genlock / video-switching option allows the card to genlock
to an external composite video source, while providing seamless software A/V
switching between external and internal video and audio.
