Universal Cable

The Universal Cable is an 18" cable, which distributes the audio and video signals of Visual Circuits MPEG decoder boards. The cable will accomodate the MPEG Plus, 4ReelTime Pro, the 4ReelTime RGB with and without the RT Daughter card option, and the HD Focus.

The video signal is distributed through shielded 75-ohm coaxial cables ending with RCA female connectors. The audio lines are standard audio cables with female RCA connectors. Installers should note that appropriate adapters must be ordered or made for each installation.

The Universal Cable attaches to the decoder board via a 25-pin male D Sub, secured by two set-screws which attach to the decoder board's mounting bracket. The cable supports Composite, S-video, RGB, and HD video outputs along with stereo audio and Dolby Digital (HD) audio. RT Daughter card supported audio and video inputs are also available.
